Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wheatsheaf Inn
Although now buried in the Northampton suburbs, this still looks like an attractive village pub and very much has that atmosphere. Retains separate parts on each side of the central entrance lobby; a L-shaped bar / lounge on the right-hand side and a pool room (with its own serving area) to the left. As an unbranded Everards house, it was no surprise to find Tiger on one of the four handpumps, along with the small-batch Long Beach (£4.40) on another.

Traditional Pub with a great atmosphere, ever visit you will feel welcome and enjoy the food and drink. There is a selection of Real Ales as well as bar snacks.
The garden is lovely to sit and relax with a nice cold drink in the summer months and if that is not enough for you then in the bar there is a pool table and several televisions with all the lastest sport on live.
