Blue Scrumpy left this review about Brampton Halt
The Brampton Halt sits in a nice spot overlooking fields and next to a steam railway, which is inoperational at this time of year, but seems to start up again during the summer.
The pub is reasonably large inside, but still had quite a number of people sat outside, many with their dogs. So, it's likely that Fido isn't actually allowed indoors.
Just the two real ales were on - Purity Pure Gold & Timothy Taylor Landlord. There was no real cider. I quite enjoyed the lively atmosphere here. We turned right on entry to an area frequented by drinkers. I believe there was a dining area to the left.
The outdoor area is certainly large, with a covered marquee and an outdoor bar too. This could be a real destination pub if the range of ales was increased.
