Aged pub over two rooms. We entered to a deserted small bar with all handpumps unclipped. At this point we almost took our leave until we noticed a small (and I mean small) archway through to the larger main bar where a fistful of punters were congregated. It’s a knocked-through room with tile floor, horrible orange mustard walls, black beams. A pool table and dart board were in the raised rear section, with rugby on the TV by the bar. One ale on, a house beer brewed by Tetley but despite a half being poured off it was still vile. Pretty poor, really.
