Alan Winfield left this review about The Baskervilles
The Baskervilles is a large ivy clad pub that also does accomodation.
Once inside there is a large oblong shaped room to the left which had a fairly long bar, there was comfy bench seating to the front and the floor was stone tiled, there was a seperate dining room to the front right which had all tables laid out,and there was another room to the rear which looked more like a wedding room.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Oakham JHB which was a very nice drink, the pubs leaflets said that it will always stock an Oakham beer, the other beer was Taylor Landlord.
There is a really nice looking formal garden to the rear which had a pond with coy carp in it with a waterfall flowing into the pond, there is a proper garden to the rear of this area with picnic tables.
This was a decent pub with a nice laid back atmosphere and it had a decent sized drinking area.
