A two bar corner house, lounge at the front with a bar reached via a side corridor at the back, the door from the lounge being marked Public Bar & Games Room, yes there is a pool table. There is a separate outside door to the Public which also gives access to an off sales window but this door appears unused now. An obviously 1930s pub modernised in slightly bad taste but comfortable enough. The lounge has screens, machines and a juke box. There are three pulls on the counter here with Bombardier, Hobgoblin and Ushers 1824 which had turned. As the beer was vinegar I left fairly sharply.
