Re-opened late 2015. Now very much at the gastro end of the pub spectrum.

This pub has gone "downhill" since the new landlord came in a year ago. The quality of service is very poor. The food is not of good standard. It is more of a city pub than a village pub. It is meant to be a friendly pub hmm the mind boggles. Wouldn't recommend this pub to anyone.
