Old Boots left this review about The Joiners Arms
A multi roomed village pub, with a friendly public bar to the left as you enter, and a lounge to the right. Behind, and linking the two, is a barrel vaulted, windowless sitting room that apparently used to be the cellar. Beyond the lounge to the right is a large dining area. All the rooms are fairly similar in furishing and decoration, all have carpets, white woodchip papered walls, decorated with interesting old auction notices, maps , brewery mirrors and prints. There is also a selection of horse brasses and Toby Jugs including brass Toby Jugs. In the public bar is a collection of darts trophies. There is a good mix of customers ranging from locals to posh diners and US personnel from nearby Menwith Hill. As befits a GBG listed pub the Tetleys Cask and Rudgate Viking were well kept ales, these are supplemented by a range of kegs from the Tetley-Carlsberg organisation.
