Old Boots left this review about Waggon & Horses Inn
Double fronted pub on the traditionally wide Market Place, so one room each side of the entrance although partial wall removal has made it a little more open plan. To the left the red and cream room is set out mainly for dining, tables and chairs with some bench seating down one end wall, décor through out is of the traditional, plates, maps and tasteful prints school. The other room with the bar counter at the far end is an old fashioned pub bar, somewhere between a public and a saloon but not actually either. The ceiling is relatively low with dark beams laden with copperware and pewter pots, the beam over the (remodelled) fireplace is beautifully carved. Bench seating backed by wood panelling with tables and chairs, this bar is fairly lively with some mature locals, a few Dales type characters among them. Hand pulled ales from Yorkshire; John Smiths, Theakstons and Black Sheep, all ubiquitous beers but well kept, plus the usual sort of kegs. Food is served, it's standard pub fare but it looks appetising and is reasonably priced. There is a beer garden at the rear.
