Graham Coombs left this review about Twenty Churchwardens
Excellent, idiosyncratic and unspoilt village free house in beautiful location. Created by local landowner from an old cottage, schoolroom and chapel after Watneys closed down the village pub, this little gem maintains a character all of its own. The main room houses the bar, with adjoining rooms squeezing in a dart board and a slightly out of place food servery. Garden area outside. Good and economical food every session except Sunday evenings, seeming to be mainly home made pies. Only one ale on handpump (Adnams) but also some keg Elgoods beers. Thoroughly recommended; visit it before it gets ruined or closed.
