Real Ale Ray left this review about Rose Tavern
A good traditional pub and only a couple of mins walk from Unthank Road. This is a large two roomed pub with a central bar, floorboards and painted walls. There were four ales on handpump on our visit, Tribute, Tim Taylor, Chaulk Hill and Oakham Bishop's Fairwell, which was in great nick. The landlady told us she was hoping to get another two handpumps added to the bar.

The Rose Tavern is a decent looking corner pub that is in the back streets of Norwich where there seems to be lots of very nice pubs.
Once inside i went in the room at the front which was a decent room to have a drink in, there may have been other rooms but i did'nt look.
There were two real ales on the bar and i had a drink of Chalk Hill CHB and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Woodfords Wherry.
I quite enjoyed my short stay in this pub.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Rose Tavern
Friendly community local, well worth seeking out. Three of four handpumps on when visited, including a very decent pint of Chalk Hill Bitter.
