Strongers . left this review about Greystones
Greystones has a small U-shaped bar that supports a standard keg range alongside two hand pumps that were drawing Timothy Taylors Landlord and St Austell Proper Job. When I visited on a recent Wednesday afternoon the lunchtime menu was in operation, burgers are priced at £8.95.
Either side of the bar is seating and to the left on the chimney breast above a log burner is a television. This is an official Carling Premiership pub, so Sky and BT Sports are shown. The television was off in favour of some low background music from the jukebox. To the left of the bar area is ‘The snug’, which I thought was a bit big to be called a snug. There is a quiz every Wednesday from 21:00 and live music is a regular event. This pub opens at noon everyday except Mondays when the doors open at 16:00. There are some picnic tables out the front and there is a much larger seating area in the garden out the back. There is also a large car park.
