We have been holidaying in Wroxham for over ten years now, and always pass this pub on the way there and back. We tried visiting it one year, but it was Fathers day, and it was very busy. It is bigger than it looks from the front, extending backwards, with a conservatory restaurant behind that. Unusually, the front door seemed to be locked, and the only way in is by the side entrance. It is owned by Adnams, and has a clean traditional pub feel on the inside, albeit a little corporate. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it was busy with food trade. It took a while for the three bar staff to realise I wanted serving, but after that they were polite and efficient. There is a standard pub menu, and five real ales available. Doom Bar at £3.40 is a fair price. It was too busy to take internal photos. Pay it a visit.
