Old Boots left this review about The Exhibition Inn
Odd shaped pub, probably an older cottage and house knocked together, oddly the bigger bar is in the smaller left hand building. I didnt get far into the right hand building just a small counter area with no beer, presumably the restaurant is beyond. Much modernised inside with a short counter straight ahead in the front right hand corner of the quite bland L shaped room. Furnished to front and side with banquettes at chunky tables and chairs on a modern flag floor. There are three pulls on the counter but just a very average Taylors Boltmaker at a very unaverage £6.20 a pint! Other Yorkshire beers were Madri and John Smiths, some down market lagers, Guinness and cider on other solos and T’s. I was lucky to see the beers as when I walked in it was empty but for two bar blocking lager drinkers plonked down in front of the pulls.

Strongers . left this review about The Exhibition Inn
The right-hand side of the Exhibition is a restaurant, so I stayed in the left-hand tile floored L-shaped bar area where an L-shaped stool lined wood panelled serving counter faces a couple of large tables with chairs along the front windows and some banquette seating up the floral wallpapered left-hand wall. Behind the counter are another couple of tables. I fancied a lager so didn’t note if there was any ale, but the Stella was £3 for a half. The service was polite, but there was no atmosphere even though there were ten or so people in. One to walk past next time.
