Old Boots left this review about The Pigs

Very much a restaurant with beer, you are greeted at the door by a sign stating go to the bar to be seated, you then will be led to a table and given the menu unless you tell them you only want a drink, there is a limited amount of drinking only space. It’s a long thin building divided into four areas with table and chair furnishing and bare boards. The counter is straight ahead on entering and my heart sank as there were no handpulls on it, I then spotted five cask ends with taps on the back wall with a selection of local beers served by some sort of boil in the bag system. Today these were Adnams Ghost Ship, Woodforde’s Wherry, Lacons Legacy, Moongazer Jigfoot and a house beer, Old Spot Ale, made by Moongazer; I don’t think they change much but the quality was good. The “loos” are down a corridor leading away from the counter and the doors are inscribed Boars, Sows and Piglet / disabled, I guess piglet refers to baby changing rather than something unsavoury. Needless to say pork features highly on the menu but not exclusively.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Pigs

The Pigs appears to be a quite commercialised establishment, with a number of different facilities (including a spa and accommodation) and offering various events.

Plenty of staff were around to serve us on our arrival. But whilst you could order and get your drinks at the bar, you weren't allowed to sit inside unless eating. Luckily, there are heaters in the undercover area just to the front of the pub, as there was a little chill in the air. Inside, a Sunday carvery was being served.

5 real ales were on - Woodforde's Wherry, Adnams Southwold Bitter & Ghost Ship & Moon Gazer Jigfoot & The Pigs Old Spot Ale.

A strange kind of place. But not being allowed inside made this below par.
