When I was here in March this was a hotel with its own bar and restaurant, but it has been subsequently taken over by the nearby Feathers and is now known as the Lawns Rooms. It was a pleasant, airy cafe bar, with a few nice tables and chairs. The bar had two hand pumps, but neither was operational and I had to settle for a Wolfpack IPA, which was a bit fizzy but not unpleasant, and priced at £4.40 a pint.
