A big and slightly tacky roadhouse with a sort of 1990's pastiche of a Tudor interior, bogus beams, naff modern woodwork and all. I suppose it felt stylish at the time. There is a dark low level bar with a pool table in what looked like the original pub, but most of the action now is in a big extension up a few steps. There are a couple of sports screens for entertainment and a large grassy garden to the rear, featuring play equipment. Strangely it had Hogs Back TEA, in reasonable condition, and reasonably priced at £4.
