Attractive whitewashed brick pub in a riverside Fenland village.A homely,dog friendly bar to the left;large,award winning dining room to the right.We'd come for a family luch,so sat in the rather echoing dining room on a sunny Saturday lunchtime.
A self styled gastro-pub, we felt they'd over stretched themselves in the kitchen department, but this is a pub and beer site.The beer on our February visit couldn't be faulted-Brewster's Hophead, and Adnam's Blackshore Stout were on fine fettle,and a craft keg beer from a sister company was also much appreciated.
