A downmarket off-sea front pub with bed & breakfast, friendly enough but nothing much to write home about. The bars are carpetted with maroon walls and conventional furnishings, a prominent dartboard at front and an outdoor area behind. My eyes pricked up (eh?) at the sight of a live handpump, but sadly it proved to be brewery-conditioned Wainwright Amber, so duly boycotted. Instead went for a 'house' stout, which proved to be Belhaven Scottish Black - arguably nicer than the Irish stuff.
