Unassuming village local, strangely with a frontage built into the narrow end of a row of cottages. The considerable woodwork within has not benefitted from being all painted light grey, but otherwise it is fairly traditional. The two draught beers were Doom Bar and Atlantic, which is a little strange for deepest Middlesex but there you go.

Tried this place out of desperation for food and beer, whilst stopping at Harmondsworth hall round the corner before a holiday flight in the morning. We were met with a somewhat shabby interior, a couple of locals propping up the bar and a bar maid who was less than inviting. We asked about the availability of food and were told to look at the blackboard on the bar, pick somthing and she would see if it was available. Feeling we couldn't just walk out, we ordered a mediocre pint of Doom Bar and a Sav Blanc and hid ourselves in the corner with the TV showing Polish programmes. I don't think I have ever downed a pint so quickly in order to leave a pub. If you are in town, try the Five Bells.
