A random PuG photo of a hare inside a metal wire globe wasn't a helpful indicator in identifying this pub, but located as it is on a crossroads it was perhaps easier to find in person. This is roughly staple-shaped internally, the end to the left of the bar houses a jukebox, pool table, dartboard and TV screen, the end to the right is semi-demarcated for dining and the area in front if the bar is the drinkers' domain. Carpeted throughout with various tables, chairs and bench seats, three-quarter height dark wood panelling to the left and rendered walls to the right. Four ales on - Fuller's London Pride, Adnam's Broadside, Young's Bitter and Vale Spring Forward - the latter a surprise addition but pleasingly good as well as £1.90 a half. The area in front of the bar is narrow, so you could imagine it bring rather cosy on a Friday or Saturday night, but overall, with the gastro-esque pubs in the surrounds, this seems a decent enough boozer which warrants a brief sojourn.
