Rex Rattus left this review about The Beehive
This is an Indian pub. They don’t do real ale, but they did have Cobra on draught. This place seems to have something of an identity crisis – the signage for “The Beehive” is still there, but prominent signs have been added for “Jalandhar Junction”. Inside, the furnishings consist of some pretty grubby banquettes, small stools and some standard, but basic, tables and chairs. There is also a pool table. They do an extensive lunch menu, which is entirely Indian food with the exception of the all day breakfast. Curries were around the £5.50 mark, rice at £1.50 and naan bread at £1. The decor is all Indian, or Indian inspired, prints and the like. Rather incongruously the TV on the wall was showing an ancient episode of The Saint featuring that paladin of the acting profession, Sir Roger Moore. I doubt whether I’ll bother to make the effort to visit again, but if I was a local I might very well drop in for a curry now and then.
