Again another Enfield pub I never frequented much due to its lack of Real Ale and propensity to attract some 'interesting characters'.
But sad to see another one go in this part of town.
And if you have a spare £700,000 this building could be yours and as the selling agents blurb says.."the property offers significant redevelopment potential to convert to mixed-use or residential subject to gaining the necessary consents. and please note the property is not situated within a conservation area and the building is not listed" expect this one to be demolished for more flats in the near future..

This place looks like it has been recently refurbished and it has gone for a modern feel so it isn’t a place for traditional pub lovers. It is split into three sections with the front bar area having limited seating laid out on my Saturday night visit, but there were some arm chairs and also some high tables in the bay windows. The smaller room to the left of the bar was closed off and the larger room to the right of the bar was closed for a private function.
I was the only person in the front bar at 21:30 on a Saturday evening so maybe all of the locals were in the private party at the back. I obviously didn’t stay long, but I did notice a large plasma screen that was showing VH1 and the barmaid was very nice as she served up the standard draught selection.
