Cask was a single hand pump offering the seasonal 4 by 4 Brew pale ale from GK with two hand pumps non dispensing. Keg offering of original and dark fruits SB, Guinness, Carlsberg, Carling, John Smiths, Fosters and Coors.
L shaped venue plus a room off to the right of the front corner, which was carpeted with a banquette along the left-hand wall serving regular tables with regular chairs the other side thereof and then a couple of regular tables served by armchairs. The main L shape is carpeted with the bar counter on a bare board skirt along the rear wall and curving round a little to the rear left-hand corner with tall stool seating on the tile skirt. Regular tables and chairs at the front to the left of the entrance and then a long colourful fabric banquette down the left-hand wall serving regular tables with similarly upholstered regular chairs the other side thereof. The left-hand wall is decorated as a bookcase and there is a dart board in the rear left-hand corner. Quite a few TV's around the venue tuned into the sporting action, including the early evening racing, no commentary rather a very poppy soundtrack providing the sound. There is some outside seating at the rear, essentially picnic benches on a block flooring. Quite liked as a place to watch sport.

Judging by the livery and décor I’m pretty sure this must have been a Wetherspoons at some stage. It’s now called The Three Wishes and is one of the few proper pubs in the vicinity. Popular for live sports, one hand pump, Courage Best which was a decent pint and only £2.20.

There is no real ale in here, although there are three unused hand pumps, and there is a very limited standard lager selection along with three Guinness pumps. The pub has Sky and Setanta which is shown on the plasma screens and there is also a dartboard. There are some nice mirrored booths either side of the main bar area and there is also a paved drinking area out the back door. The background music would have been ok if it wasn't for the sound also being on the football review programme that no one was watching.
There was live music advertised for every Saturday night, but I can't see myself returning.
