Right by bus station. Nice pub to have a pint in while you wait for your bus to turn up late. An open plan pub with an outside seated area for use in summer. Has up to 3 real ales on offer mainly well known brands.

The Johnny Pye is a moderately sized pub adjacent to the bus station and named after a local entrepreneur who originally founded the bus service.
There were around 8 customers in on my Wednesday lunchtime visit, and my initial thoughts were that it resembled a Harvester type of pub with a couple of raised dining areas and other similar aspects. The beer was the usual suspects plus 5 handpulls 2 of which had there clips turned around,2 Bank's bitter and a Hobgoblin.
Although I cannot envisage a return trip I found the pub ok and the beer prices quite reasonable.
