Brainy Pool left this review about Bridge Inn Hotel

Wonderful looking pub from inside that perfectly fits into its heritage village location. Inside is a restaurant to the right and bar to the left with hotel check-in at the centre. Sadly the interior isn’t well cared for and is operating as a Greene King flaming grill chain pub. So, absolutely no local interest and the walls plastered with BOGOF burgers, cocktail offers and other corporate messages. A shoddy treatment of what should be a classic pub. On the bar just Greene King IPA but in relatively decent nick.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bridge Inn Hotel

One of many interesting buildings in the 'model village' built for the adjacent Lever Brothers soap factory. Substantial 'U'-shaped building, with the restaurant located on one side of the front courtyard, the hotel reception in the centre and the pub housed in the other wing. This comprises an elongated single bar, with several prime seating areas by the large bay windows. Wooden bench seating in the courtyard. Two handpumps, offering Hobgoblin and EPA (£2.15). Worth popping in if visiting Port Sunlight. (NB - Review dates from September 2011.)
