Smart hotel in the middle of Lord Street. You enter into a large lounge with loads of different seating to the left and the long bar to the right. Dominating the whole place entirely is the huge carvery servery, complete with steaming Yorkshire puddings etc. This was on a Tuesday, early evening, so I'm guessing it's always like this. A couple of cask ales available on the bar and my pint of White Rat was in good nick. It's a good looking place, but I wouldn't want to spend loads of time here when the carvery is in full swing.

A hotel bar that's a bit sterile to be honest. There's nothing wrong with but its just boring.
