We called in on Tuesday around lunchtime and I was surprised how busy the place was. This establishment was formerly the Tree Tops Hotel and now only caters for food and drink. The interior is upmarket and had two lit coal fires on our visit. The layout consisted of a large dining room at the far end, plus a conservatory on the left. The building still retains its large sash windows from when it was a residential house.
Five cask ales on handpump Salopian Oracle, Titanic Plum Porter, Facers Flintshire Brewery This is Splendid, Ossett White Rat and Brunning & Price Original Bitter. I found the place informal and the staff were great. Prices for a cask were around £4.50.

A really nice Brunning And Price pub. Set within wooded grounds this manor house pub is very pretty both inside and out. Multi-roomed and very foodie there are at least 5 or six rooms to sit. 12 handpulls on the bar with beers from Heritage, Titanic, Salopian, Beartown and Bowness Bay. Not the cheapest pub and not the easiest to find. Outside seating in the grounds. Very busy on this Thursday afternoon.
