If you like horse racing this is the place for you. Two bookies next door so minty old fellas coming and going. A single long thin room stretches back. No real ale.

Found it a nice place nice and clean called in for the first time 14th of April it must have had a refurb since all those bad reports about the place will call back

went to watch the darts at brownlows on 3 sept 2011, wot a shithole and very disgusted, got attacked by flies all nite, got that bad we had to ask the barmaid for flyspray, also were we sat there was a hole in the ceiling stuffed with beermats, and it was leaking water all nite, never again sorry,wouldnt like to be a tourist coming into this bar.

TRULY AWFUL ENTERTAINMENT SINCE THE YOUNG LAD GOT RID OFF LAST WEEK. NO ATMOSPHERE AND THAT WAS FELT AMONGST ALL OF US! EVERYONE IS DISAPPOINTED. PEGGY, KITTY AND GIRLS (PUB CRAWL LOT)

Great bar with superb atmosphere especially of a weekend and Friday! The bar is reasonably priced where its situated, and is probably the best bar along Mount Pleasant, and that includes Smokie Mos over the road. The new DJ of a friday has some voice (I think his names Peter), perhaps the best in Liverpool for a male singer, and the music he plays is grand. He plays all eras of music and especially my favourite era (50s and 60s). Great sound too!
