They've done a good job here, as it used to be quite dire. You enter into a main room with a log burner, bar in the far corner. 4 pumps, Kirkstall Three Swords EPA, Black Sheep, Titanic Plum Porter & Salopian Shropshire Gold. I had the Kirkstall and it was a steep £5 a pint. There's another seating area up a few steps from the bar, with a couple off screens and music played low. There's a painted mural on the walls with Liverpool scenes, Paddy's Wigwam, Albert Dock etc. Toilets upstairs, and there's another small room up there to the left. It's not bad, but not somewhere I'd rush back to.

against all odds, this one is suddenly in its rudest health for a long time as the current landlord has been supported by the pubco and has made a real effort to get the place a established as a proper pub again. A few handpulls now in use and an admirable music policy (“strictly no Wonderwall”, for example), it’s definitely worth a look if you’re visiting the pubs nearby.

This, now shabby, pub doesn't really offer much reason to go. Two rather dull rooms with the one to your left up a few small steps. The beer is usually poor and dull. In winter be wary of a calor gas heater that's usually plonked in the middle of the bar room.

This was once a really good pub with well kept Landlord and the odd guest, but following the quite well done renovation it started to slide. It looks a bit like a well heeled dentist's waiting room especially in the upper room, you might enjoy a visit the dentist more than a pint in here now. The beer quality is usually poor, the staff busy with their texting and the TV intrusive.
