A great place to sit and enjoy a drink with friends , however I can't wait till the Bowling Season starts again, so I can sit out in the evening/weekend with a pint or two watch a few matches .

This pub is one of a few remaining real public houses. It has a medium sized lounge, above on the first floor there is also a spacious function room.In addition to this it has a traditional bar with a small authentic snug room to the rear. So, four rooms in total.
The Landlady is welcoming and overall its a nice place, made mainly by the patrons whom frequent this pub. The bowling green is in use and the beer garden is a real sun trap. Best pub in West derby overall and has accommodated everyone from the area and beyond during the difficult covid 19 times.
The snug has just been re-furbished and that alone is worth a look at if passing by.

A large, solidly built pub. There are 2 rooms with a smallish bar to the right and a large, spacious lounge to the left. Traditional fixtures inside and the lounge is decored with dark wood panelling and banquette seating. The bar is similarly decored. To the rear is a bowling green. There is one unused handpump in the lounge so its just your basic lagers and kegs.

Great place for that quiet drink, suffers a bit from the lively Standard being across the road, however its a nice place to spend some time and money
