As soon as you enter it is obvious that this is a Manchester United pub, with banners and memorabilia on the walls. There's a DJ stand to the left as you enter and a pool table and a table football game in the rear room. There are loads of big screens, but sadly there's no real ale. I had a half of something fizzy which was very expensive compared to the other prices I'd been paying all afternoon. It's not my cup of tea, but it was pretty busy on a Friday early evening.

The Town Hall Tavern is a large imposing looking pub, that is situated on the busy church street.
Once inside went in a fairly large room at the front of the pub, this room seemed pretty basic at the time of our visit.
When we first went in this pub it was a Wilsons tied house,we had a decent drink of Wilsons bitter.
This was not one of the better pubs we did in Eccles.
By the time i got round to photograph this pub it was being run by Vaux brewery.
