This pub has gone downhill a lot in the last few years. 25 years ago we used to call in here regularly. I think this will be my last visit for another 25. It's getting a bit shabby both inside and out. They have a sign outside saying they do real ales, this is repeated on a chalkboard. They're a bunch of liars, they don't have any handpumps. Two rooms, the right hand one has a stage for live music, the left has a pool table and dartboard. I went to have a look in the pool room and some stroppy twat said "Can I help you mate?", so not welcoming to strangers then. The barmaid was fine, but some of the regulars were downright confrontational. Half of Carling was £1.60. Probably only a 4 at best, but the lying real ale signs and the knobhead in the pool room drop it to the score of shame.
