The Red Lion was on the very busy rochdale road and in a very pubby area of blackley.
When i visited this pub it looked in a state of disrepair and once inside the pub was just as bad,this was a really run down pub that looked to be on its last legs.
This pub used to be a Wilsons tied house and there were no real ales on here i had a drink of keg Wilsons bitter and this was a pretty poor drink.
I am glad i went in this pub before it closed down.
