I walked into the right-hand bar of the Lord Raglan to find a group of four locals sat at the counter. With nothing more than seating in here I decided to drink in the left-hand side where there are a couple of seating areas and televisions that were airing Champions League football via TNT Sports. I also spotted a jukebox which was off for the football. Standard keg and Madri were available from the polite barmaid who was accepting cash only. Don’t even think about doing a crawl around Gorton without a cash in your pocket. This isn’t a pub anyone would travel far to visit.

A very basic 3 roomed pub. To the rear is a pool room, the other two rooms are both lounges (sort of). The one to the right was full of loud, shouty numpties. The room to the left was much quieter, although still busy. Large TV screens in all the rooms showing horse racing. Unusually for a Holts pub there's no real ale, so I had a half of Holts Black, which was very cold and tastless. This is one to leave to the locals. I certainly won't be calling in again.

The Lord Raglan is a smallish pub that is on the corner of a very busy road junction.
Once inside there were a couple of small rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a decent enough room, when i visited this pub it was a Wilsons tied house and there were two real ales on here i had a drink of Wilsons bitter and this was a fairly decent drink the othe beer was Wilsons mild.
