Strongers . left this review about Joiners Arms

The Joiners Arms has a central serving counter around which there area four different rooms, two carpeted loungey rooms to the left, a public bar to the front right where there’s an enormous amount of trophies on a shelf that were probably won on the dartboard located in the right rear. The pub is clean and neatly decorated with some wainscotting and traditional features. There were a couple of locals in the public bar area during my recent Tuesday late afternoon visit when the televisions throughout were airing a game show with sound which I find brings my mood down. Live sport is advertised so the atmosphere will be better when a match is on. There’s no real ale, but the service was very friendly and I would use this back street local to watch the match if I was from the area.

A well hidden, neat little 4 roomed pub that was converted from 2 houses sometime prior to 1900. All the rooms are nicely decorated, the staff are friendly and there's also a friendly, large, brown, Labrador type pub dog. What's not to like? Well there's no real ale, but it's a good pub and a real survivor.
