Strongers . left this review about The Grand Central
The Grand Central is a thin dimly lit pub with a long centrally placed bar counter on the rear wall that faces the entrance and minimal mixed seating along the front windows. To the left are some high tables before a stage with music equipment in the front left and a pool table rear left. To the right is some raised seating. I didn’t spot any televisions, and the barman was very disappointed to hear that Brentford were in Town for a match at Old Trafford. They may not like sport in this pub, but they certainly like their music with a mix of metal and rock coming out of the speakers. The pub was starting to fill up during a recent early midweek evening visit, although the denim and chain wearing locals at the bar looked like they’d been in for a while. Only one of the two hand pumps was in operation drawing Robinson’s Dizzy Blonde, standard and premium keg was also available. I’m not a huge fan of distressed and dimly lit music pubs so I don’t plan on returning.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Grand Central
Large, elongated, multi-space music pub of the goth / metal variety. Limited amount of basic furniture and very plain decor, with the only feature of note being a pool table at one end. As one might expect, just Hobgoblin (£3.30) from the solitary handpump.

You know when sometimes you walk into a pub and instantly think "I don't like this place"? Well it happened to me in here. It's all one room with little of any interest on the walls apart from a few posters advertising bands. There's a pool table to the left and there's also a quiz machine and a jukebox. Only 1 handpump on the bar and this was pulling Hobgoblin which was OK to be fair. It's very close to Oxford Road station and feels like a typical station pub, full of people you don't want to know. I won't be bothering again, there are 5 better pubs within 100 yards.

A really good Rock pub for people who like heavy metal, rock and punk. Full of people going to Jillys Rockworld on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. A good wide range of booze including Yagerbombs.
