Strongers . left this review about Dane Bank Hotel
The right hand side of the Dane Bank was lights out so I visited the traditional L-shaped wooden floor and wood panelled left hand side. There is a small raised seating area in the front left window and banquettes, tables and part white tiled pillars are faces by the bar counter on the right hand wall. A couple of high tables lead to standard tables by the back door that opens up onto to a large grass covered beer garden where a few picnic tables can be found. At the rear of the garden are children’s swings. The bar supports standard keg alongside Birra Moretti and three of the four handpumps were in operation drawing Dizzy Blonde, Unicorn and Trooper as this is a Robinsons house. The service was polite and I liked it in here, although the location dictates that I’ll probably never visit again, but I will pop in if I ever find myself in this part of Tameside.
