Traditional looking, pleasant, community pub. There's one main room plus two more rooms on the left. There's a lounge at the front and a rear taproom with a dartboard. So much bigger than you would expect from the outside. As I walked in the pub dog barked at me, ran off and then cowered at the top of the stairs. Useful guard dog? No not really. There's a small stage in here with a DJ rig and they also advertise live music. Just a couple of friendly locals in the pub on my Friday, late afternoon visit. 4 handpumps on the bar, but only 3 on these were Thwaites Original and Thwaites Bushwacker. The Bushwacker was in decent nick. It's a good suburban local.
