ROB Camra left this review about Church Inn
A fairly standard locals local with quite a few in on a Friday afternoon. Lots of screens, a couple of dartboards and karaoke advertised in the evenings. No real ale, so I had the fizz of choice in here which was Carling. Very handy for a quick "relief" visit on the way back to the station.

Lively Manchester Pub, which I think needs to be a category on its own. If its not sport, its Karaoke. Certainly a lively atmosphere.
Didn't notice any cask beer - so went safe with Keg Stella. Looks a good pub if you need entertainment, rather than somewhere quiet to read the paper :-)

Strongers . left this review about Church Inn
The Church Inn has a U-shaped bar on the back wall that faces an open plan seating area that is broken up by a couple of supporting pillars. To the left of the bar is a screened off snug. Televisions for showing multiple football matches are located throughout and there was a decent crowd in on the recent Thursday I visited. The bar supports a standard keg range alongside Birra Moretti and Amstel. I found the service to be friendly and I’d have no problem returning to watch a match in here.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Bulls Head
The Bulls Head was a decent looking white painted pub that was situated on the corner of a very busy road junction when i went in it.
Once inside i had a drink in a smartish lounge which was carpeted and had decent comfy seating, the pub used to be a Tetley tied house and there was one real ale on the bar, this was Tetley bitter which was a nice drink.
I was happy enough having a drink in this pub.
