The Birch Arms was situated in a fairly quiet area of west gorton.
The pub was on a corner and it had quite a lot of tiles on its front,once inside the pub was very basic and seemed pretty much unaltered there were a few different rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was very basic.
The pub was a Bass tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Bass and this was a decent drink the other beer was Boddingtons bitter.
This pub is still standing but it has sadly closed down and been converted into other use.
