The Angel has a central counter that serves left and right bars, both of which had a couple of customers in during a recent Tuesday evening visit. In the right side of the pub tiles edge around the counter to the left where standard keg is available alongside Madri, much like many of the pubs around these parts. To the right of the bar counter is a parquet floored seating area and in the right rear is the VIP area, which is a shrine to Man City. I imagine the governor sits in here on matchdays. The larger left-hand side of the pub has mostly standing room, but there are a few high tables between the pool table and dartboard. To the left of the pub is a large patio garden with seating, some of which at the rear is covered. A boozer with pool darts and football, I’d drink here if I lived locally.

This is a Manchester City supporters pub and has a small room to the right which is a shrine to the team with lots of interesting photos & mementoes. To the left is a small area with a big TV screeen and at the rear is a larger room with a pool table. There's also a small beer garden. No real ale and a half of Carling was £1.50. It's probably worth a visit to see the shrine, but there's not much else of interest.

The Angel is an ordinary looking town pub that is in the back streets of gorton.
Once inside there were a few different rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was fairly basic but a decent enough room to have a drink in.
When i visited this pub it was a Greenalls tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Greenalls bitter and this was a fairly decent drink the other beer was Greenalls mild.
I think this pub is still open but i dont know what beers are now on here.
