I thought that I'd watch a little cricket on Friday afternoon, so I went into the Whittington Cat. I only stayed for one as the cricket was on a small TV with the sound muted. This is not unlike many pubs, as you don't really need to listen to the commentary. The difference with the Whittington Cat is that on the bigger plasma screen was The Paul O'Grady show with the sound turned up. I know it's an old man's pub, but blimey, I thought I was sitting in my Grannies living room!
