Visited 17/11/25. Visited previously as Escape Bar on 27/11/23.
No cask but an interesting keg selection of Employees of the Month - a double milk stout from Pretty Decent, London Black from Anspach & Hobday, Gamma Ray, the Greatest Love Story pale ale also from Pretty Decent, Meantime Greenwich lager, Peroni, Cornish Orchards cider, Konig Ludwig Weissbier, Pabst Blue Ribbon, A Love Supreme the DDH Hazy IPA from Goodness, Red Fin cider, Neck Oil, Burst Into Bright - the hazy IPA from Queer Brewing, a couple from Vault City - the 24k Bling and the Cherry Cocoa Mocha Melt, the Ricotta NEIPA also from Pretty Decent and the alcoholic ginger beer from Dusty's.
This remains an overtly gaming bar; U shaped with the U off the left-hand wall relative to the entrance. Old stone flooring with regular tables and chairs in the front part of the venue plus a few sofas, one of which was set up in front of a gaming screen. There are some regular tables and chairs in the area at the back which also had a traditional arcade gaming machine. There is a regular quiz on a Monday evening and the beer fridges behind the bar counter hosted an impressive collection of canned beers. There is a beer garden at the back, but I didn't check out. Doesn’t feel very pub, but well worth popping to particularly if avoiding peek gaming period (whenever that might be) as if you like interesting craft beer, the have a good offering.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Secret Weapon
The former Princess of Wales has been transformed into a very curious hipster / nerd mix. Repainted externally but the interior is now more Antic-style and full of games, ranging from pinball and traditional board games to a row of consoles featuring a selection of Resident Evil releases with wall-mounted monitors (with demo footage playing on the larger screens on other walls too). No real ale, unfortunately, and just Adnams Mosaic and Caledonian Rare Red Rye (a whopping £4.50) from the limited keg selection. Spirits choice on a shelf arranged price-wise on a 'How close to pay day' basis. All a bit odd.

A central bar serves 1 real ale and food. Live music advertised and the pub has a pool table.
