No cask. Keg was Brooklyn lager, Carlsberg, Estrella, San Miguel, Guinness, Somersby apple cider and Brooklyn Defender IPA.

Left-hand room had the open bar on my visit. It was bare boarded with the counter against the right-hand wall. Numerous canteen style tables and benches gearing up for a quiz. The room had a stage area against the rear wall and a big projector style screen on the wall opposite the bar. The right-hand room bar offering the same taps was not operational on my visit, but the area provided seating via regular tables and chairs and some old leather sofas. The covered courtyard out the front provided picnic style benches and some booths to sit at on partly paved, partly patio decking style boards. An outside kitchen was not operating on my visit. The much-needed industrial style patio heaters were bizarrely switched off on a cold evening despite the masses gathering for the quiz. There were some more secluded booths along the front. Altogether this venue is a bit brutal. Generally, more open for events it seems these days, it isn’t what I would call a walk-in type of venue, you need to check its open before making plans to visit – indeed if you are heading here you probably are here for a reason rather than venue ticking!
