Amazed there is an I reviewed traditional pub in these parts on here. Pleasant pub, another light and airy one with large windows on the two outward facing sides of the pub. Pub is divided into two parts with a single entrance door between the two halves. To the right of the door as you enter is a nice sized bar, rectangular with the bar along the interior wall with stools around Light coloured wood pervades. One TV on in here, two switched off. Clearly a big Celtic FC influence with plenty of memorabilia adorning the walls. Main feature is a large mirror on one wall. The other room was more of a lounge with pool table and big screen on the far wall. The bar has a small offshoot into the bigger lounge. Some skylights therein add to the lightness of the venue. This is definitely a sport orientated venue.
Beer wise, probably as you would expect in this sort of venue. Keg only, bitters being Worthington Creamflow and Doom Bar, a Carling cider and lager, Guinness and three other lagers (Madri, Stella and Fosters). So no marks really for beer choices but I imagine exactly what sells here. Expected types of bottled beers as well.
Venue that would easily be a 6 with a couple of even boring cask options as the pub itself is very pleasant.
