I was the only customer in here when I visited last Sunday, but my arrival was just after the pub had opened at midday so I wasn’t expecting hoards of people. There is a projector screen and Plasma screens are found throughout this large pub and they were all muted and showing Sky Sports News, but all football is shown when it is on. The pub is split into various areas and there is a pool table at the front of the pub and the largest area at the rear has lots of twigs that are intertwined with fairy lights stuck to the ceiling. One of the three hand pumps on the bar was unused and the Deuchars and AK clips on the other two were turned around leaving a standard draught selection. I was poured a decent pint of Guinness, especially for the first pint of the day. Food is served and from scanning the menu it looked to be mainly cheap pub grub.

There are a few picnic tables on a grassed area out the back which sides onto the car park.

I’m sure that this place is fine to watch the sport, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink here again.
