Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bull & Butcher
Reopened in February 2026, this two-bar locals pub has been refurbished in a semi-traditional style, with a dartboard in the front part (and the back not in use when I visited). Only cask ale was an indifferent pint of Landlord (£4.40) that tasted marginally better than it looked.

The previous review remains an accurate description, although the benches out front have gone. The bar is located centre-left and offered just Sharp's Doom Bar and Fuller's London Pride with a third pump unclipped. A pint of the Pride was £3.20. You'd visit it for the tick and the welcome and service was friendly, but there's little else going for it.

A community boozer with the front door opening into a traditional public bar with three handpumps but only one working on my trip with regulation London Pride. This bar has a bare boarded floor, a dartboard and Sky TV switched to horse racing and is well used by locals,a bit rough and ready.Benches out front for a tab. There is a small corridor to the loos which leads to a back lounge,a bit more upmarket but empty on my trip.
