Bucking Fastard left this review about Finch's
It does look like a wine bar from the outside, but this Youngs pubco modern bar does have real ale.Money has been spent here but it's very much a pubco.trying to be cool (and failing)with trendy metal funiture, off cuts of wood, mindless muzak and random wall decorations. The rear opens out into an area with dining tables, while downstairs on the way to the loos is Harry's Den unloved and just an overflow area.It can be hired.
The bar staff were argueing among themselves about shift overruns and a member of staff was shown the door having arrived 20 minutes late, you could cut the negative vibe with a knife. All highly unprofessional.
The 5 handpumps were serving Wimbledon Copper Leaf,Doom Bar,Youngs Bitter, London Gold and a badly out of condition Youngs Winter Warmer.
Just keep on walking......

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Finch's
From the name, you might expect a wine or cocktail bar, but this proves to be a Geronimo-style Youngs pub. Attractive semi-modern furniture and decor in the elongated rectangular room that has just a couple of sub-divisions at the back. It also has the downstairs Henry's Den (not always in use) and some patio tables out on the pavement. Two of five handpumps in operation, offering Young's Ordinary (£4.60) and Sharp's Coaster, with Doom Bar and Purity Mad Goose on next.

Strongers . left this review about Master Gunner
This place is a bit food orientated for my liking with condiments on every table, but the governor was extremely friendly and my pint of Guinness was very nice. Ordinary, Special and Bombardier were also available alongside a selection of standard draught and premium lagers.
The pub décor is nothing out of the ordinary, but there is a decent pool room downstairs that houses two tables.
I would have no problem having another beer here if passing.
