Not much like my idea of a pub, but much less of the very traditional wine bar that it used to be. The strict dress code is no more, and ladies are now allowed to order drinks at the bar. Some might ask what is the world coming to? But it does have some charm I'm glad to say - the completely separate rooms are now more, although you can see the remnants of the screening that used to separate them. Also ther the old wine rack opposite the bar counter is still there, with its (very) old telephone bolted on its side, and the off-sales area is still there on the left at the front of the bar. And they do a beer - Birra Moretti or something similar as I recall. I didn't bother looking at the food menu.
It's a comfortable enough place, but it still looks more like a traditional wine bar than a traditional pub.

Up market wine bar/restaurant, certainly not a place for real ale drinkers. I agreed to meet someone here recently and ended up going past the 'tenner for a glass of wine' barrier for the first time, paying £10.40 for an (admittedly very large) glass. Enough said.
