Steve of N21 left this review about The Three Horseshoes
The village of Flackwell Heath previously had six public houses, but The Magpie has been demolished and The Green Man seems to be now permanently closed But the remaining pubs, The Cherry Tree, The Three Horseshoes, The Green Dragon and The Stag, can still be found all in the space of just over a mile from the village centre.
The Three Horseshoes can be found just off the main street on The Common and on approach things do not look to promising as it more resembles a restaurant, especially as it has ‘Pub and Dining’ plastered on the front in big letters.
And although internally the décor is more of that of a modern restaurant, with a carpeted main area laid to tables, it still functions quite well as a pub, with a smaller but pleasant wood floored area around the main serving bar, with bar stools and additional seating around the walls and then a separate small side room with a large central table and a large plazma tele.
The beer choice exceeded expectations as well being some local brewery ales, as there are three hand pumps, dispensing Loddon Ferrymans Gold, Rebellion IPA, and London Pride, but they also had Tring Colly Dog in the cellar, which at 5.2% and £3.00 was a very decent dark beer.
And, although I didn’t try it the food menu looked reasonably priced traditional pub fair as well.
